Freida will not be presence Cannes film festival:
'Slumdog Millionaire' actress Freida Pinto, who was supposed to be part of the 63rd Cannes International Film Festival, will not be presence the event owing to shooting commitments. The actress was expected to walk the red carpet with the stars of "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger" directed by Woody Allen.
"This is to verify that famous Bollywood actress Freida Pinto unhappily will not be attending the Cannes movie festival as she is shooting for `Immortals` in Canada, this film directed by Tarsem Singh is slated to release in2011. Her film `You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger` directed by Woody Allen will be premiering at Cannes," said her spokesperson. The Cannes Film Festival opens May 12.Source: News Agency
